Accessibility Statement
At Coherent Math, we are committed to providing equitable access to our math resources for all learners, including those with disabilities. Accessibility is built into our design and development processes from the start, ensuring that our curriculum is rigorous, engaging, and usable by everyone.
Our digital content—including Google Docs, Google Slides, and PDFs—is being designed and remediated to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We continually review and remediate our materials to remove barriers and improve usability. Steps we are taking include:
- Ensuring alternative text is provided for icons, graphics, and meaningful images.
- Using LaTeX to make math content accessible, scalable, and compatible with assistive technology.
- Checking and maintaining sufficient color contrast across all content.
- Applying clear heading structures and logical reading order for screen reader users.
- Reviewing templates with tools such as Grackle Docs and Acrobat Pro before distribution.
We are also implementing staff training, user feedback mechanisms, and ongoing accessibility reviews to ensure continuous improvement. Accessibility is not a one-time project—it is a central part of how we create and deliver our curriculum.
If you encounter any accessibility barriers while using our materials or have any questions about the accessibility of our materials, please let us know so we can address them promptly:
